Business Overview
The Littlehampton Peace Memorial Hall is a Community facility for the benefit of local people but also has a wide customer base from the wide outer metropolitan area.
It commenced construction by the laying of the foundation stone on 27th January 1919 as a Memorial to those military personnel that served in World War 1 and recognises the soldiers, sailors and airmen that gave the supreme sacrifice.
The building is owned by the District Council of Mount Barker, with operating procedures under the control of an Incorporated body that is a not for profit Association registered as Littlehampton Peace Memorial Hall Incorporated.
The Hall and its facilities are operating at near capacity with groups renting by regular and casual users. All of the activities are subject to Contract Agreements – either regular or once only users.
Unique Features
The Littlehampton Peace Memorial Hall has a main hall that has capacity of 100 people, a small hall or supper room that has capacity of some 50 people. There are two smaller spaces that are utilised as meeting rooms. This facility is the centre of activities in the township and is well known and respected in the greater area of Mount Barker.
The total hall capacity is limited to 150 persons.
The Kitchen is a commercial style with 2 Gas stoves, flow through hot water system, 2 refrigerators, Freezer, Commercial Dishwasher and substantial Crockery and Cutlery. There is a centre bench top with multiple sinks and drain areas, along with hand basins.
